My Horses Are Home!
Kenny and Raul showed up last night with my horses right after dinner. They were supposed to be here by 4:00, but they got a late start and you can’t drive fast hauling horses.
It only took an hour to get them off the trailer, brushed down and into their stalls. What a relief to have my horses back. I can’t tell you how good that feels.
In the morning I’m going have my dad come out and take a look. That will perk him up, there’s no doubt. Just wish he was well enough to ride. The doctors say that maybe in July. . . so that’s what I’m shooting for. In the meantime he can come out to the barn and sit while I clean stalls. At least that will get him out the house for a while.
Way cool Tyler. Great to hear from you and you can bet I’ll come visit. Would love to see the new barn and get out on the trail with you and a couple buddies. We’ll have to do some boot scootin’ so get plenty of sleep – you are going to need it.
