A nice smile
I ran into Marilyn downtown today. I hadn’t seen her in several months. I couldn’t figure out what was different about her exactly, but I knew that she looked more attractive than usual. I asked her if she had changed her hairstyle, or what exactly it was that was different lately. She said that she had just had some dental veneers put on her teeth a few weeks ago.
I’ve never heard of putting veneers on teeth before! Marilyn explained that there is a fairly new procedure in cosmetic dentistrythat allows the dentist to put permanent veneers on the patient’s teeth without any drilling, anesthesia, or pain. She said that it was done in only two visits; it was quick, easy and didn’t hurt a bit! She said that the veneers are supposed to last for twenty years.
I wonder what happens after twenty years – how one would remove the old veneers and put new ones on. She said that the procedure is reversible, so I’m sure they’ve got it all figured out, but I am always curious about things like that!
