Halloween Fun
The whole day has been crazy with people dressed in costumes and being goofy.
Like when I stopped to get gas at the convenience store, I was inside buying the morning newspaper and a guy came it with some special effects and makeup to look like he had a huge bolt stuck in his temple. There was fake blood running down his cheek and his eye was discolored. It was painful to look at him, but he was having a lot of fun grossing people out with his costume.
The Cowboys Comeback?
What happened to America’s team this year? I can’t believe how erratic this team is playing. We are the butt of so many jokes now – it’s disgusting.
The Commissioner has suspended that idiot PacMan Jones for his stupidity at a hotel party. Assaulted his bodyguard. How stupid is that? Of course, the bodyguard is not there to protect PacMan from others. They are there to babysit PacMan and keep him out of trouble with the law. So he can’t even handle that – he assaults the bodyguard and has the cops called on him anyway. What an idiot.
So guess what, without PacMan the team manages to pull a win out of their butts. How funny.
The Hardees Commercials
Hardees hamburgers are not all that popular in these parts. There are only a few locations scattered about, so if you want a Hardees thickburger, you have to search for one. But the Hardees commericals are on all the TV channels and also radio and I have to say that having a thickburger is on my mind a little more often due to all the commercials.
The latest TV commerical shows a big thickburger and calls it ba-donk-a-donk. Then a smaller version plops down on the screen right next to it and calls it ba-dink-a-dink. That one cracks me up every time I see it!
Mac Dees Monopoly
Today is the start of the new Mickey Dee’s Monopoly game. Free games pieces are on the large size french fries and large drinks, and select sandwiches.
I’m going to put the game board on my refrigerator door and add to it daily.
I’ve already been twice today to start my collection. I’m determined to win something from the golden arches this time around. I’ve got two of the railroads – that’s encouraging!
