Twist on NFL Ticket Sales
Very interesting article today about how the Arizona Cardinals organization wants to discourage Dallas Cowboys fans from attending the football game in Phoenix. They have decided to “protect the nest” and make it harder – or much more expensive – for Dallas Cowboys fans to come cheer for their team at an away game. This is bullshit!
Not only is Dallas Cowboys money as good as Phoenix Cardinals money, but when we go to an away game, us Cowboys fans spend a LOT of money at hotels, restaurants, gas stations – even the mall, if we take our girlfriends and wives with us.
If we want to go to a football game where tickets are on sale to the general public, if should not be a consideration as to which team we intend to cheer for. You shouldn’t be able to discriminate against people who want to buy tickets to a game that’s open to the general public. What’s next? You don’t want Mexican fans? Or children? Or anyone who makes less than $60,000 a year?
Here’s the link to the story I read about it on Yahoo Sports.
