Easter Peeps
My favorite holiday is Easter and my favorite Easter candy is Marshmallow Peeps. I love to buy them the day after Easter and stock up when they are only half price. I don’t care if they are bunnies or chicks, if they are yellow or pink, well maybe not pink, and I don’t care who makes them – although honestly I think only one company makes them for the whole country. I don’t know.
So what a surprise to find out that a lot of other people loves Peeps, too and that a major newspaper ran a contest to see if people could make little scenes in a shoebox using the Peeps. What a great idea! I didn’t find out about it in time to make one myself, but next year I plan to have an entry.
Is the U.S. Ready for a Black President?
The race between Hilliary and Obama raises a huge question in the minds of a lot of Americans. The Democrats are now forced to face their own bias and prejudice and choose between the lesser of two evils: a black male president or a white female president.
I predict that this election will result in what we already see in the real world of corporate business and finance. In the real world, the powers that be would rather have a black male in upper management than a white female. In the real world – especially in the big cities and institutions, power is distributed like this:
1. White Male
2. Black Male
3. White Female
4. Hispanic or Other Minority Race Male
5. Black Female
6. Other Minority Race Females
I’m not saying that the above pecking is right. I’m just saying that is how it is. Therefore, I predict Obama will get the Democratic nomination and that he will lose to the white male Republican candidate.

Was starting to feel left out of the blogging thing. Everyone seems to have claimed their name and are having at it with notes and pix. This is more adult than MySpace. I can dig it. So here I am. Enjoy.
